About Charles Wang

I am a no-code programmer who benefits from the AGI vision—learning unfamiliar code through the domains already mastered by AI and steadily expanding the cognitive territory that AI and I share.

My career has crossed several disciplines. As a disciple of Marshall McLuhan and Claude Shannon, I first observed the world through the lens of a financial journalist; later I examined micro-economic activity with the eye of corporate strategy. Now I hope to reshape the world with words—prompts, context, code and information.

This may sound like a lofty, philanthropic aspiration, and no nonprofit has yet taken it up. But the Gen AI wave offers a timely opportunity: to join the chain of small-scale AI innovation, become one link in the global open-source ecosystem, and “merge into the ocean” by releasing easily explained, reusable modules.

Building this personal site is only a starting point. It has many imperfections and costs me plenty of after-hours time, sometimes overlapping with my day job—yet everything here is non-profit.
